2. May 2014 Campus Crime Summary:


One Domestic Violence incident was reported during May 2014. That incident occurred on May 30th at 12:15 pm at Anthony Wayne Drive at W. Warren. In that incident, one male and one female (with no affiliation to WSU) were arguing on the public sidewalk. During the course of the argument, the male slapped the female across the face. A passerby called WSUPD and responding officers located both parties. Investigation revealed both subjects had been in a dating relationship and, further, that the male subject was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant from the city of Dearborn. The male was arrested and held for Dearborn PD. The female also wished to prosecute the male for Domestic Violence.


Eleven (11) incidents of Larceny (theft of unattended property) were reported from ten different location on campus. Items left unattended, and subsequently stolen, included four laptops, one tablet, four bikes, one wallet, one chair, one wireless router and 32 cans of soda pop.


Two vehicles were reported stolen from city streets immediately adjacent to a campus location during May 2014. They are:

3. May 2014 Arrest Summary:

WSUPD Officers made a total of 81 arrests, during May 2014, for a variety of criminal offenses. The arrests were the end result of the investigation of suspicious persons or circumstances, either called in by members of our on and off campus community, or observed by officers while on routine patrol, traffic stops, alarm run responses, targeted patrol efforts, rapid arrival to in-progress incidents, or completed crime report investigations by WSUPD Investigators. The following arrest incidents, some involving multiple charges, occurred either on campus or in the surrounding MidTown area.
