2. November 2013 Campus Crime Summary:

ROBBERY:

Two robbery incidents were reported during November 2013.

The first incident occurred at 1:10 pm on November 11, 2013 at Anthony Wayne Drive at W. Kirby. There, and 18 year old female student reported she was about to cross the street when an unknown subject approached her from behind and grabbed her purse which she was holding by the strap with one hand. Once the offender obtained the purse, he ran westbound on Kirby from Anthony Wayne Drive. The student was not injured

The second Robbery Not Armed incident, involving a cell phone theft, occurred on November 15th, 2013 at 10:30 pm when an 18 year old female student reported her iPhone was forcibly taken from her while she was walking on W. Palmer at Second. The student reports she was walking with a male acquaintance she had just met on Instagram as few weeks earlier. While walking, the new male acquaintance asked to use the female student's cell phone. While using the phone, another unknown male ran up and snatched the phone away from the male. The offender fled with the phone and the male acquaintance gave chase on foot. The female student waited for approximately 30 minutes, but the new male acquaintance failed to return.

BURGLARY:

Two burglary incidents were reported during November. Both occurred inside the Student Center Building and both were reported on November 25th, 2013. 

LARCENY:

A total of fifteen (15) incidents of  Larceny (theft of unattended property) were reported during October 2013 from twelve different locations across campus. 

VEHICLE THEFT:

Three vehicles were reported stolen to WSUPD during November 2013. All three were parked on city streets adjacent to campus locations. No vehicles were reported stolen from any WSU parking facility during the month. Taken from city streets adjacent to campus locations:

3. November 2013 Arrest Summary:

WSUPD Officers made a total of 55 arrests, during November 2013, for a variety of offenses. The arrests were the end result of the investigation of suspicious persons or circumstances, either called in by members of our on and off campus community or observed by officers while on routine patrol, traffic stops, alarm run responses, targeted patrol efforts, rapid arrival to in-progress incidents, or completed crime report investigations by WSUPD Investigators. The following arrest incidents, some involving multiple charges, occurred either on campus or in the surrounding MidTown area.
